Setting the Highest Standards
We have qualified NNEB, BTEC and NVQ level 4,3 and 2 Childcare Practioners, we also have a support teacher and staff members with a wealth of experience both at the nursery and as parents.
| Dedication All our staff are First Aid trained especially for 0-7 year olds and also have food hygiene certificates.We encourage staff to continue their training on various courses and feed back to the staff.We have officers for safe guarding children, special needs and the foundation stage. As the nursery provides food we have full time catering staff to enable us to provide fresh food daily and cater for special dietary needs if required. |

| Planning We plan to make children's learning effective, exciting, progressive and varied. Key persons build up knowledge about individual children and how they learn. We observe children , assess and then plan next steps with help from parents/carers. Planning is flexible to adapt to various circumstances. |

Menu
Food is provided by quality local butchers,fishmongers and green grocers. We take great care over all the food we serve and have undergone a nutrition audit to ensure we are giving all the nutrients in the right amount for the various ages of children
Water is provided all day , with milk served to every child if parent wishes us to. Our menu is varied, and runs seasonally.
Babies are fed pureed fresh fruit and vegetables and we work closely with parents when weaning is needed.

Settling in We understand the importance of settling in for both the child and parents. All children are allocated a key person who will take care of your child and make a special relationship We also ensure we work closely with parent/carers and work together for the best for your child. |

Courtesy We promote politeness and good manners. Staff eat with the children to encourage good table manners. Also an awareness of the community in which they come from and respect for others and things. |
Security
We recognise that security is of paramount importance. All doors are fitted with yale locks. Those collecting children must have been authorised previously by you with us. If for any reason an unauthorised person is coming to collect your child then you must notify us of their details.
