If we still have a concern the parents will be told this and also that we have a legal right to report our concerns to social services/ Ofsted. Any concerns we may have regarding a child will be forwarded to Social services/Ofsted. Confidentiality will be up held at all times by all concerned. We will then follow the advice they give us. The designated person for child protection is Diane Westley, Manager of the Wishing Well Day Nursery. If an allegation is made against a member of staff The staff member will be asked for a full statement of events and told we have to inform Ofsted and the ACPC. They may have to be temporarily suspended from the nursery depending on the severity of the accusation. - Ofsted and the ACPC will be informed of the accusation.
