Group Rooms

The Wishing Well is a top class establishment comprising of numerous brightly decorated and spacious rooms. The organisation within each room is flexible and enables each child to settle at his/her own pace.

The Rainbows – this group is for our 2 to 3 years olds, they have their own spacious room that is fresh, bright and colourful with a maximum of 12 children, and their own bathroom equipped with potties, toilets and star charts for when potty training starts. The children are introduced to a more structured day by the three bubbly and enthusiastic staff, but still with the emphasis on ‘learn through play’. Daily activities will be more challenging to stimulate all areas of development. Toys are more varied which allow the children to either play on their own or within a group. There will be plenty of messy and creative play which will involve activities to encourage the early skills of hand eye co-ordination and pencil control. This is the age were friendships will form, within these friendships the children will be encourage to share, language will also be improving with staff setting a high standard of communication, they will also be encouraged to express their feelings in a positive manner. Potty training will begin in this room when you and your child are ready. Each child will have their own individual training program worked out with the staff and yourself. A star chart will be put up in the bathroom were they will get a stamp when successful some time even two or three. Plenty of spare clothes are advisable at this time for any little accidents.
