All age groups have daily access to the following additional rooms or areas

Sensory Room - Within this room the children are encouraged to freely experiment with most of their sensors with a variety of equipment. We have many wall displays each with a variety of material to be explored by the children using their hands, feet or even their mouth. CD’s with various music from classical to rock and pop, traditional nursery rhymes or even calming sounds can be heard by the children. The main lights can be turned off and the bright curtains closed to enable the children to see the green & yellow rope lights and the multi coloured disco ball go round. A plasma light & lava lamp are a favourite of the children at group time. There are many different soft toys large & small, rugs, sensory play mats, books and small soft play all with different feels to entertain the children no matter how young or old they may be.
This room is constantly changing, and new equipment been introduced all the time.
